The NNRC Advisory Committee was formed August 29, 2005 and held its first meeting September 14. The role of the advisory committee will be to provide counsel to the Director on the vision of the Center and on strategies needed to achieve that vision. The Advisory Committee consists of faculty representatives from those university departments having an active base of “users” of the facility. Currently the Committee consists of representatives from the departments of: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and a representative from the College of Medicine, the Moffitt Cancer Research Center and the College of Public Health. Each member serves a two year period and will be selected/appointed by their respective units.
